1. Many global leaders and scientists pinned their hopes on the summer months for the reduction of viruses to survive and spread due to hot and humid conditions

2.Respiratory virus infections usually drop in warmer temperatures however, emerging evidence indicates that COVID-19 infection is not slowing down but the numbers kept rising.

3. While people were wondering about the onset of monsoon to wash-away the deadly virus but expert says it’s still uncertain.

4. The COVID-19 is a respiratory illness with similar symptoms like influenza flu, and the cases of seasonal flu are said to increase during the monsoon months.

5. Researchers examined the life of droplets released by COVID-19 patients via cough or sneeze and related that humid weather during the monsoon can enhance the spread of novel coronavirus.

6. Some study indicates that hot and dry weather evaporates the infected droplets easily, thus reduce the risk of further spread.

7. A multitude of factors affect the spread of corona virus, and weather parameters can’t alone stop or spike the spread however, higher humidity level helps the novel coronavirus to survive longer and spread faster.

8. No conclusive evidence on weather parameters to spread novel coronavirus, despite an established knowledge that temperature and humidity affects the virus SARS-CoV-2.

9. Monsoon season brings other flu like influenza and vector-borne diseases like malaria and dengue, which puts additional pressure on the health care system of the country.

10.Conclusively understand the COVID-19 spread with respect to different seasons is to carry out year-round surveillance for at least a few more years.
